Young Jeezy
Imagine this…I am rocking quietly with my daughter before bed time, lights off, cuddled with a blanket and bunny and I am saying quiet prayers. I ended with “In Jesus’s name, Amen”
It was quiet for a minute, and then I hear this, “More? More Jeezy?” I couldn’t help but laugh. I am pretty sure even Jesus got a chuckle tonight.
Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Valentines Day Baking
Addison and I had a lot of baking to do on Valentines Day. Some for us, some for Abe’s work and some for bible study the next day. We started making red velvet cupcakes, the process was quite fun with a 1 1/2 year old.

The door and the closet door still need to be painted white. Once we find out for sure if we are having a boy or a girl I have a lot of different wall decorating ideas. For now I thought gray was a nice neutral color.

Tangible Progress
My talented hubby has worked his booty off since last night and this is the progress…
All new trim and wainscoting! Next step is to prime and paint the trim, doors, & wainscoting white. Then patch up the walls and prime them. Then the hardest part of all…I have to finally commit to a color for the walls. Abe says I have about a week before I have to decide…Pinterest...
Slow Progress
Today we spent the afternoon emptying the nursery…

As I write Abe is out getting new trim and wainscoting which we (mostly him) plan to start installing tomorrow. At least we are moving in the right direction :)
Sneezes
Addison took a power nap this afternoon when she woke up I heard her through the monitor sneeze twice then I heard her cute little voice say, “bless you addy”
So Not Ready For This
When I shower during the day I put Addison in her crib and fill it with toys. I also take my video monitor so I can peek at her if I need to. Today after my shower I peeked in on her, and she was so busy playing she didn’t even notice me. I then decided I had extra time to run upstairs and get dressed. As I walked through a Florida mall I saw an older woman pushing a stroller. It must be a grand baby I thought. As I looked closer I noticed it wasn’t a human child, but a canine child. A very well groomed white puppy wasn’t what I had expected but what was really crazy was the hot pink trendy feathers woven into the fur on its ear.

A New Year
