“If you reveal your secrets to the wind you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.” -Kahlil Gibran artist & poet in US (1883 - 1931) |
We went a little overboard with our Christmas tree this year. We have a part of our living room where there are really high ceilings. This year we thought it would be fun to get a really tall tree, and it was beautiful.

The only problem was that it was bundled up when we brought it in, so it wasn’t a problem, but once we cut the netting off the tree got huge! And suddenly we realized we were not going to be able to get the tree out the same way we got it in. We enjoyed the tree during the Christmas season, but were anxious to get it out of our house because it shed its needles like no other pine tree Ive ever seen. This is the tree exit strategy/process..

The saw…

Getting smaller…

Cut off the top…now its just a big stick…and pile of branches…

Our Christmas stick and all its needles…

The clean up…
Next year I’d be happy with a small 6 foot tree instead of a 11 footer…
